Dewdrops And Teardrops Poem by Sariga Devasia

Dewdrops And Teardrops

What a pleasant morning to walk down,
experiencing the aroma of nature,
thin, cold, pleasant breeze whispering
a wonderful day of warmth and pleasure.

The lush green turf, that was spread
was glittering in the morning mist
wearing crystal crown on their head
was covered in the blanket mist.

But why the tears adorned my face
gushing out from my heart
spilling out from eyes
ran the warm fluid in a slow pace.

And I walked away from that lawn
away from the smiling grass
when I find that, I should not be here for I am alone
in midst of the beautiful grass.

Drip drop... drip drop
so was the music that oozed out from my heart
Drip drop...drip drop
so were the beauty drops that embellished the grass.

drip drop... drip drop
so fell my tears...
drip drop... drip drop
so stood the dews..
