Devoured Little Lamb Poem by Arunesh Dixit

Devoured Little Lamb

Rating: 5.0

Having the sharpened dagger in hand and tied lamb in front
Man was looked by tiny eyes in despair to beg for breaths!

Alas! Is it good the humanity is asked to spare the breath?
Ye, man demanded I can release if given the right replace!

Poor lamby didn't learnt the trade and was about to fail,
Yet not losing hope to keep life intact and make nature hail!

Offered milk and furs you can have and let all be associates,
Mum lamb gaped for the words out of man's balance bets
However, the salivated tongue is becoming more unrest!

Not a good deal and tried to butcher the poor lamb in weal,
No way to get rid of this ordeal, little one urged one last wish

To leave my eyes unused as I've to see if anything goodish!
You will relish me in your mouth and I'll be nowhere around,

My body will make you fit and healthy so my death will divine!
Who is better and why, a lamb or a man, let God decide.

I give my life for you and you take lives for few tongue's dew!
Humanity is where when come to eat so why we are only beast?

Hunger makes beast to eat but you are given with plenty feast!
Think on this and decide, do I really a material for your taste bite?
