Devils Gun For Hire Poem by Chris Mena

Devils Gun For Hire

Pin Drop Ear Splitting Silence
Broken By The Sirens
Your Sweating And Shaking
The Tears You Were Faking

Finally Turned Real
But No One Seemed To Believe You
So Now Your Making The Devils Deal
Your Praying For Something, Anything To Do

What You Weren't Strong Enough For
Waiting For Someone To Walk Through The Door
And Take Your Hand, Take You Away
Leave Behind Your Loneliness And Dismay

You Want To Say How You Feel
But All That's Left Is Emptiness
Now Your Find Out How Life Became So Real
No More Serenity Or Peaceful Bliss

You Lower Yourself Into The Fire
Waiting To Become The Devils Gun For Hire
You Reach Out One More Time Crying
But Your Already There, Time Went By Flying

Your Staring Death In The Eyes
Unrecognizable With Its Mask On
But Than You Remember The Lies
He Disappears In A Instant Gone

As You Open Your Eyes To The Fire
You Almost Became
The Devils Gun For Hire...
