Devil's Advocate... Prêcher Le Faux... Poem by Jonathan ROBIN

Devil's Advocate... Prêcher Le Faux...

Rating: 2.8

'Two roads converge', said he, but she
on other bandwidths meditates
prior to stating priority,
strategic plans contrary fates.
So spins Time's wheel: here amity,
there love, confront as second states
mock head's tale. Linearity
unlocks no door but generates
confusion self-sustained which key
free-will acclaims, anticipates
tomorrow's brighter destiny
may map Life's lost co-ordinates.
Will often will shrug off restrictions,
still, seldom still: Man's contradictions.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

We often find that in relationships we are on different, yet similar wavelengths Jon, and there is such a bandwidth that accommodates both friendship and love, we just have to tune into eachothers frequency, not sure about the expression of Preaching a lie t discover the truth, but I can see some logic in it. A heart and mind tending sonnet, not in the traditional style but brilliantly contemporary....Top of this beautiful morning to you, Tai
