Devil Does Devious

For nothing but its look
'devious'
has been co-opted
by the devil;
you cannot say
'a devious path'
and merely mean
'a roundabout way'.

Evil co-opted 'devious'
for its look;
ended the innocence
of 'a devious path
he took.'

Deviating from 'normal' thought. Normalcy is overrated. : -)
