I am sinking deeper into reality
The sand beneath my feet is swallowing me
It is becoming harder to control…
Your touches electrify my heart
It is becoming harder to know…
The vines I grasp keep my head above
The calls aren’t what they used to be
Your voice doesn’t have the same tune
I am sinking deeper into the reality,
That we have grown apart
The sand beneath my feet is swallowing me
Changing me
It is becoming harder to control one another
It is becoming harder to know one another
Your touches electrify my heart
Always have, always will
But we cannot deny we have developed at a distance
So now to you I say good-bye as I sink into the sand
