Detective And Criminal Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Detective And Criminal

poet knew no words
for inspirational poetic
philosophy thought patterns
mind soul birth expresses

philosophy principles
pertaining to matters
relating to existence
knowledge seen values
reason mind language

mysticism in arts
or systematic approach
rational argument
or soul love of wisdom

ah wisdom told me
'Language is like
a detective
always way behind
a good criminal'

who is that smooth criminal?
where does this one walk tonight?
bound forth upon this night journey?
