Destroy The Bridge Poem by Ulysses Cabinatan

Destroy The Bridge

I must destroy
the bridge
that connects your place,
to my palace

stack a gray stone boundary
cobble walls
so that you won’t attack me
the way you used on the old days

Erecting the barricade is the only way
to halt the advance of your abuse
to my kindness and generosity

to destroy the bridge
that connects me
to your slimy personality
