Destiny Poem by Hanzala Mojibi

Destiny

Rating: 4.5

“Destiny, where am I bound? ”
I meekly asked one day
What I then found
Changed my world from deep grey
To one with a speck of shine
I wore the look of an optimist
Gave away my few left dimes
Before I left, for it had whispered, “The sublime zenith”

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Once during a car trip I was gazing into the stars. I seriously wondered where I would be and doing what in 10 years. I wrote this based on my conversation with the stars that slow night.

Destiny is defined as the force which is believed to control events. Sometimes forces of the mind do control forces of destiny, bearing this in mind, to a large extent we are indeed the captains of our fate. A nice and well articulated poem written with insight. A lovely piece of poetry. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
