Desperation Is Descended Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Desperation Is Descended

Desperation is descended
Thus
That twilight turned to
Red
The waters cried
The heavens cried
The hammer on the brain
The heart wrung cried
What more?
What more, my Monsignor?
