Desires Poem by Sidra Mahmood Khan

Desires

Rating: 5.0

My desires are spume
Like tanager's tune
Well, well flying spray
Till the light fades away
The setting Sun, silent stone and city cries
Will calm soon when Moon appears in skies
And piano's white teeth plunking out notes
Rhythm coming out from shrieking throats
Wet eyes and the wind's song
Among pale foliage walking long
