Desire led me down
A dark, dank stair well
While she sang a tune
I danced for her
And she laughed at me
I still followed her like a dog
Waiting for my crumbs to fall
A malnourished king
I shrank into oblivion
She wore a death shroud
As she buried me
Without ceremony
I could still hear her
Laughing at me
As she led me down
For the last time
