সেই পূর্ণিমার চাঁদ তুমি
রূপের আলো ছড়িয়ে দিলে
কোন কারণে?

You are the moon
Of my sky,
Shading your love in my heart

মন বশ করে দিলে
যেথায় যায় তোমার চাঁদের আলো
আচলখানি বিছিয়ে রাখে
কোন কারণে?

You took my heart away
Your gracious lady
The moonlight falls back in shy
To hide it is ready.

চোখের কাজল যেন অম্যাবশার আকাশ
নাকের নোলক ওই ছোট্ট তারা
শোভিত করে তোমার বদন
সেই রাত্রি নাই বা ফোরাল
কোন কারণে?

Your deep blue eyes
Like the deep ocean
Peep through the corner of the night,

মাথার কেশ যেন সমুদ্রের ডেউ
