Depuis qu'Amour ma poitrine recuit,
Bouillante au feu de sa plus chaude braise
De mille ennuis en immortel malaise,
Dont maint souci dans moy l'un l'autre suit:

J'oubli tout bien pour un bien qui me fuit,
Par un plaisir dont la douceur m'embraise,
Si bien qu'il faut que nul autre me plaise,
Et qu'en luy seul je preigne mon deduit.

Mais, las, faut-il pour un bien seulement,
Tout autre bien oublier, tellement
Que l'on ne puisse en autre prendre joye?

Ô dur plaisir, si plaisir il y a,
Par qui mon cueur de sorte s'oublia
Qu'onques depuis il ne tint saine voye
