Decode Me Poem by alyssa bradford

Decode Me

Rating: 5.0

Tell me
can you do it?
Can you see beneath my eyes to the real me?
the pain, hurt, sorrow, regret,
the happiness, graces, blessings
to the real person i am
not the fake everyday play
i act so naturally
Please tell me can you decode me?
do you have that ability?
but if you don't
do not judge me for you do not know me!
the wars i've battled,
the things i've lost
the family i come from,
the love they give me
and ultimately
how far i had to come to where i am now.

yes you can't judge a book by its cover. and in the bookcase of a person thier whole story will never truely be known. well written
