Decisions Poem by Jessica Copeland

Decisions

Lack of sleep catches up with me
I must get some rest
Yet, I sit by the window, waiting
Waiting for you to come rescue me from myself

Can You Hear Me
Can You Feel Me
Do You Hear My Sorrow
Do You Feel My Pain

I've come across this fork in the road
Many times before.
Which path do you choose?
Is it the same way I'm going?
Are you happy with your decision?
I'm not going to try to force you to change
But that doesn't mean I'm not hoping
Hoping that you'll stay beside me
I don't want to stand in the way of your dreams
But I've got dreams of my own
Not dreams of fame and fortune
But of living
And there's no life without love

Can You Hear Me
Can You Feel Me
Do You Hear My Tears Of Joy
Do You Feel My Heart Ignite

I've come across forks in the road
Many times before.
I know which path I must choose
And it's the same way you're going
Are you happy with my decision?
You don't want me to change
Hope is no longer nessesary
For you remain beside me
Together we live our dreams
Dreams that are all our own
Not dreams of fame and fortune
But of living
And there's no life without love
There's no love without you
