Deceptive Ilusion Poem by Sandra Feldman

Deceptive Ilusion

Rating: 3.3

I dreamt you had come back,
In the feathered form of a bird,
And I sadly called out your name,
Feeling every syllable, in pain,
As life faded, even in a dream,
As I knew, you could not stay,
And all my tomorrows were gone
Silently, blown away.

Dream or person, the fading is sad. It's a very fine poem
