Deception Poem by Empty One

Deception

Rating: 5.0

She pretended love him like nobody before
The deception started first time she walked through the door
He loved her so purely she was the one of his dreams
The both expressed true love and all that it means
She showed him that love that he'd always craved
They vowed a love they would take all the way to their grave
They made many great memories from the start of this love
He had no doubt she'd been sent from above
Neither was perfect but no people are
But he never expected his heart she would scar
They planned a future with rings and their kids
But deception was stirring and here's what she did
She led him On more right the end
With no warning she left and here's what she said
I promise we will get back to that love
Just show me the Scott who's heart fit me like a glove
He promised he would because he loved her true
And without her in life he wouldn't know what to do
He tackled those burdens without wasting.any time
He uddated her daily to show he wasn't a waste of her time
But then she sent him mixed signals and messed his head
His gut told him she lied and that promise was dead
But she gave him excuses so his love held on tight
Till he went to the store on a cold winter night
He saw her inside and not by herself
She'd been sleeping with a boy the size of elf on a shelf
So here's my tail of deception and word to the wise
Don't believe a word from Johnna she tells nothing but lies
She's not what she seems she's cold and she's trouble
Pure evil in the flesh so keep her out of your bubble

An insightful depiction of waywardness and deception in the bliss of love, well articulated and nicely penned in good rhyme scheme with conviction. A lovely poem bristling with knowledge. Thanks for sharing poet. Please read my poem THE OBSESSIVE AGONY OF LUST.
