December (An Acrostic) Poem by John Carter Brown

December (An Acrostic)

Rating: 5.0

December again, and
Every child is looking forward to
Christmas, and the presents yet to come;
Easter is well in the past, and the
Michaelmas harvest, good or bad, gathered in.
But now the fun begins, with
Each new advent-day being crossed off
Religiously, by chocolate-splattered children.
