Deceiving Looks Poem by Nina Grobe

Deceiving Looks

Rating: 5.0

You look at me and you see,
An innocent little angel
Happy as can be,
What you don't see; an assortment of emotions that I hide inside,
If you are looking at me closely, you will find;
All the anger, pain, and sadness buried deep inside the heart of one little girl,
From head to toe I am filled;
Emotions galore,
I have experienced so much yet hardly lived,
The pain and suffering of a life time has been combines;
Shoved into 15 years,
I am anything but an innocent little angel
this I will admit,
You mustn't judge a book by the cover;
That, I learned.
Just take a look you will see
Someone completely different
From the person you Are about to meet.
Do not ever let looks deceive you;
The worlds most Unsightly person may be the one with the most sightly heart.
Making an ugly person beautiful.
