Debtors Poem by James Inas

Debtors

Debtors:

Walking free

but most afraid to be

caught up with life's one lender.

Everyday survival

Lean's lean on Luck like

Every moment lived

is an escape from 'I surrender

What's the price for being free? What's the

ransom for life?

How certain could this be?

Just let Jesus drive.

Death is a price every human must pay.

It doesn't matter how close u are to God,

it doesn't matter how long u pray

Christ died that we might live

Do not mean that we are immortals.

His promises of life we cleave

Because he is our only eternal portal.....

Had Christ died in our generation

it would have been premature,

But that's a proposition of what a fool feel.

He had to give up the ghost

with a valediction of 3 words

'It is finished'

A certification that he was fulfilled...
