Death By Hanging. Poem by Gillian.E. Shaw

Death By Hanging.

Rating: 5.0

Incredulous I.
Neither one appears to fear
yet so certain God is near
times trodden trail to make and mend
for that's the way all 's done my friend.
Barbaric still; now to what end?
Better banishment by far
cloistered then those souls disarmed
will abide in harmony.

Well put Gillian - we seem to be observing the the ways of the dark ages transported directly into the twenty first century -whatever happened to civilisation - perhaps it only exists in the imagination! Egal..
