Death Poem by Heaven and Earth

You’re in the dark
You’re all alone
You scream, you shout
But nobody’s home
You can hear voices
In the distance you stare
It all looks the same
Blackness everywhere
Calling your name
Holding your hand
Right at your bedside
Is all of your clan
You look for an exit
But there’s no way out
You’re confined in this box
You trapped like a mouse
You think of your past
You beg on your knees
While everyone is looking at the EKG
You say you will change
He’s made up his mind
There’s no second chance
You look up above
And see a light
As you walk towards it
You fall out of sight
Down past the earth
And into a cell
Being tormented
You know you’re in hell
In the world of the living
They cry, they all sigh
Looking at the EKG
They see a flat line
