Death Poem by Eduardo Jacobo Miranda Garcia

Death

The sky is trembling and I don't know why.
I think it will fall down at me,
strangle me to death,
And slowly eat my flesh tasting it carefully
'till I'm only bone.

Then after I'm dead,
I will wonder around the earth
Thinking of what I did wrong in this life...crying,
And when I know what I did wrong I'll try to repair it.

After I drown in my own sadness
of old sad memories and tears,
I will go on to the next step
on eternal life, reincarnation or being food for the worms.

Everybody will follow this path,
want it or not,
It would be logical to enjoy life
but it's called destiny what gives us the way.
