My acquaintances are myriad,
whereby my time flee.
I never thought of you,
nor felt any need.
I perceived, I enjoyed my life,
to the fullest;
and you always gazed in silence.
Your ineffectual attempt to meliorate me,
never sparked my mind.
Life blossomed and unfolded its wings,
reached heights of obstinacy,
but you remained unswayed by my side.
I receded and was negligent,
felt my love to them is perpetual.
While destiny played its hard role,
they broke away, instantly.
I was disdained and frozen,
shunned in solitude,
and feared the world around me,
But on time you shouldered,
and extricated me from the shackles of misfortune.
Had you not come,
i would have not survived.
Eventually understood that,
I was so……… “Dear To You.”
