Dear Sister Poem by Ahmad Arli Hikmawan

Dear Sister

Rating: 5.0

Dear Little Brother
Please tell me whether
You did the unthinkable
Going back to the insensible?

I have gone to those places
Upon the Lord's disgrace
To the darkest of passage
In the middle of torn pages

Look at me, Jack
My eyes are now black
Skull had cracked
Arms all hacked

Take a good look, Jack
The road is black
The world is cracked
And the message has been hacked

So, why Jack?
Why do you come back?
To that wicked shack?
And those evil pack?

Dear Beloved Sister
Your eyes are prettier
Head still above shoulder
Arms had become wonder

You went to many places
But under the Lord's embrace
To the subtlest of trials
Into the fullest of vials

I am tracing back
The road is not black
The world has not cracked
And the message has not been hacked

The road was black
Cause you couldn't feel
All the paths and the facts
Invisible is not unreal

The world was cracked
Cause you didn't realize
Nothing is perfect
Symmetry is a disguise

The message was hacked
Cause you couldn't accept
Recite is not react
Exact isn't always correct

So many differences
So hard being indifference
Upside down reality
I am just being honest, truly
