I wonder if your simile
Will be cute as me?
I wonder if your eyes
Will be bright as the stars?
I wonder if your voice will be
Like one of a bird?
I just can’t wait to see your face,
Far from the face of the earth
Far from the waves of the oceans
Far from my reach
Yet the wish within gets stronger
Every night I jog my memory
To the Greenland, where peace and quiet is found
Where I dream without intruders
And that’s where I met you
Now I keep on asking myself
Will I ever see you with a naked eye?
Hold you in my arms & touch you with my hands?
Oh! My child
I can’t stop wondering if...
your eyes will look like mine?
Your smile will be cute as mine?
I can’t stop thinking
How will your voice sound?
At the back of my mind
I will never stop imagining, until the day
I feel you in my womb...
The day when I hear your cry…
See your face…
See your smile…
I shall stop wondering.
This is just wonderful! The eagerness of a mother to see her unborn child let alone unconcieved shows unconditional love...if all were born to such mothers they would turn out okay. Thank u!
A baby's smile is the most beautiful sight in the universe. I like it '
