Dear Mama Africa Poem by Felix Emeka George

Dear Mama Africa

Dear mama Africa,
Your children have lost land and heritage
In pale man's deserter infection.
Mama Africa!
do not sleep.
In the new virus they have designed a suffering for our land named terrorism.
Save us Mama Africa!
From these travails beyond religion
Glare beyond you and choose peace.

Now, in top gear is their strife.
It enslaves the minds of your daughters and sons
Via visas, given, we go
and we welcome yesterday slavery with us.
Remember Mama Africa
Let not your products talents, sons and daughters align slaves again.

It is hope freed from poverty and of the cold mild weather,
Where our flesh bloom in
Prejudice and cruelty.
The Gold dream richer states that turned a day born child,
And the nakedness away from the scorching sun that is hell.

The senseless son and dullard daughter,
the unpatriotic cowards and dirt dealers of our land
Who I feel in my tiny head, are the early arrivals to the stream,
who turned the water muddy
and brewed chaos,
poverty and war.

These senseless and ignorant men
Know not that long dentition requires more lip.
Fled million money and mansion to distant lands
From war and chaos,
To live in peace.

They host massive gain of everything
And our wisdom deprived men
shamefully remain enslaved
in honour on the Gyre.
Now our land is like a ripe rotten banana.
O dear Mama Africa!
Come to our aid lest they bring us down again
No, you will win this war dear Mama Africa
