D and D spirit by Henry Ochiagha
We hear we talk
We pretend
Not because we wanted to
But because we're persuaded
We try saying something
But was ask never to speak
On the process we mutter
Thereby forcing ourselves to talk
We'd love to hear
But something covered the ear drum
Making sound waves difficult to penetrate
Dumb officials makes some really dumb decisions
Reaction took over imagination
How long will the sign language last?
Do not close a door so hard
One day you may want to access it
After much cogitation
He rejected the offer
Offering my life in exchange
For freedom
Because a knock down is never a knock out
Although restoration is coming from afar
One day we'll be restored
Thank God we see and understand.
