TERRITORIAL BATTLE by poet Henry Ochiagha
(Russia annexation on Crimea / China and Japan songs of war on disputed island)
Insect/Cockroach represents a lot of things. Therefore, USE YOUR HEAD if you must understand the content of my message.
I wake up early in the morning looking at a cockroach trying to live
Because of the insecticide I flitted all over the house
I felt bad because I saw the struggle for survival
Fear of death
Arrows of the enemy
Pains of life
Orchestrated plans by humans to invade the other animals' territory
Ego of truth and a destiny been aborted
The insect wish to live but death was already around the corner
Two friends with swords pretending to be loved
Planning to kill each other on the same day
If you allow a mad dog that bites the owner to live,
You are allowing harm to remain in the world
All humans have the tendency of becoming a true friend
Or enemies with a sword like Brutus
Going to the beach with a fan required urgent attention
We are all politicians in this political field called earth
The laxity ones are treasure to the rugged ones
What we buried in the Nile must be buried in our hearts
Where do I take this case?
Is it to the international criminal court?
The integrity of the judiciary has been compromise by evil forces
Nepotism, injustice and corruption are what are obtainable in human judgment
But do I allow my house to be invaded by insects just because of the pity I had for one; Never
Instead let the territorial war continue
