Dead Of The Night Poem by Karen Montegrande

Dead Of The Night

When i hear her sing of love i wanted to cry,
When i see her reading her phone i can't help but be blind,
When i smell her scent i can't barely breathe,
When i touch her hand i can't help but feel weak,
as i manage to pretend it tears me apart,
'Cause i know I'm not who's inside her heart,

When i think of her face i miss her the most,
When i dream of her voice i can't help but feel lost,
When i laugh of the things she says,
I couldn't stop faking,
'Cause she just left me when i was profusely bleeding,

When i will have the chance which is impossible to happen now,
When i will have that final glance i hope I'm not broken,
When i am to face the truth i hope it hurts bad,
'Cause I'm feeling so numb i really wouldn't feel the pain,
I'll just be paralyze 'cause sometimes love's like a game,

I lost everything i have then i lost you,
It wasn't meant to be but still i love you,
I can't blame you 'cause it's what you feel,
I just hope your decision is right,
'Cause i don't wanna see you crying,
Alone in the dead of the night..
