De Gabay (Poem) Poem by Hassan Panero

De Gabay (Poem)

De Gabay as the number zero to numeracy
It's hope, its humanity, its back to basics
It's the simpler things in life
That needs to be cool
It's the respect between a child and a parent
Between different cultures
It's got nothing to do with flags
Because flags are inhuman
It's the ozone layer of generations
It's the communication between animals and humans
It's the conflict between logic and creativity - & their agreement
It's the treaty beyond entertainment
It's the angle of pride
Adjacent to the negative
The participatory side of pride
It's the frequency that unifies one age
So all human are one
And it breaks it down into three stages
It's the one thing that animals will eventually learn from humans
Not We from Them
We fly because they do, now they will be poets because of us
The underneath of the iceberg, the unmentioned beneath, that is De Gabay
Every invention is already stored within the world, patiently waiting for discovery.
That is DE GABAY (Poem)
