Day Outside Poem by Christopher Ditlow

Day Outside

What a great day under the sun!
Alot of hard work but it was fun.
Sun shinning down, wind blowing sweet.
The shade under a tree the perfect retreat.

The smell in the air, dirt and dry leaves.
The taste of spring lingers on the breeze.
The squirrels run by playing in every tree.
As the flowers are inspected by a dutiful bee.

You work in the yard making it look nice.
Sweat and hard labor are your price.
Looking about life is everywhere.
Bringing alive beauty thats beyond compair.

Life outside beneath the bright blue sky.
As the birds sing as they fly by.
Joys of spring are right outside waiting for you.
Where the grass is green and the sky blue.
