Dawn Chorus (Tanka) Poem by David Wood

Dawn Chorus (Tanka)

Rating: 5.0

Dawn wakes from a tired night.
A red sky beckons,
Sunlight casts early shadows,
Early morning dew
Quenches the thirst of snowdrops.
Softly, the dawn chorus sings.
