Darling Poem by Larisa Rzhepishevska

Darling

The word was printed and flew away,

the letters were lining up in a threat.

I didn't want! No! I didn't want to print this word.

But! It was so naughty.

It bravely came off my heart

and jumped on the keyboard. My Lord!

It came off my heart and flew away

traveling half way around the world.

It was so foolish, so quiet, so timid and modest.

Seven little letters flied away

into the realms of fancy.

It was the greatest word!

And....it was... DARLING.
