It engulfs your soul,
and drains you of all happiness.
You feel broken,
there are no tools to fix you.
You do things you regret,
even after you say you won't.
You become quiet,
you think no one will listen.
You get thinner and thinner,
you don't want to eat.
You sink into sadness,
everything's gone wrong.
You think no one cares,
about you or how you feel.
You have a sense of hopelessness,
things will never get better.
You are empty inside,
nothing but a barely beating heart.
You grow hesitant and weary,
you'll get abandoned again.
You try and fight,
it doesn't seem to work anymore.
You go raw and bloody,
it'll take the pain away.
You cry more and more,
the pain's still there.
You sleep with no dreams,
no energy and all nightmares.
You shut down,
you can't think of doing anything else.
You live in hell,
combined with the worst pain you can imagine.
Darkness leaves no whole survivors.
