Darkness Poem by Debasish Mishra

Darkness

It absorbs everything...
In its limitless bosom.
Temples and tombs,
Man-made barriers...
All look alike.

Is not it like God?
That doesnot discriminate at all.
Imagine the fighting flickers of a candle,
At last, succumbing to darkness.
It is indomitable.

It is really difficult
To decipher the reality of darkness..
It is the melting pot
Of dream and despair
Feat and failure
Life and death.

So why hate or fear something
That is so indiscriminatory?
Darkness is all-encompassing,
It is inevitable...

i like your strong words but they fail to make that impact on mind. though they are used in an intelligent way something feels missing.
