Dark Territory: The Shadow Cerberus Poem by Engin Kavrak

Dark Territory: The Shadow Cerberus

The monster lies under reddish crimson lines
Licks the incoming swallows and lowers glints
A silence within his heart a hunger never ends
The tribe of guardians of light retreats
As they get lost one by one amidst the deluding mirages
Oblivious and amiss of what is left
The craving of the monster reach against
Chases the courage of the guardians left in the dismiss
Crumbles a might of the vast blue sky's bless
The laughter of the shadows' footsteps unretreat
Shakes the Scryers upon their sole amidst
The holes upon the soil has invaded
The Glyph of Transformation and Fire seized
A nightmare forms invades the lone in sleep
Many by their mind and will breached
As the nightmare release the whips in slash
Upon the will of the common folk under the sun
Feeble and delirious they become
Yet so few at the fear lose their soul
The monster is a Shadow Cerberus
Moans his cloak of shadows in radiance
Reflected in glamour the spirits of light deflect
Their light becomes tight they reshape themselves
The monster is bound to a certain time
Of numeric Glyphs of time still clear
Preventing the monster to sustain shadows in day
In the night however all we can do is to pray
