Dark Room Poem by Artistry The Sound

Dark Room

I sit alone, in a dark room...
Searching for a way to occupy time
My mind drifts
dreaming in the day
Am I so low that no one understand me?
Or am I solo that no one understands me?
... I fail with the paint brush
But with words,
I can put a motion picture to your eye
if the perception is right

This is not a mirror
Leave your interpretations at the door

sheep flock to the road less traveled
Like cattle
I've hopped off of the saddle, LIGHT changed the channel
I'm alone because I do not want to be a chattel

Men governs mental
We step in line
Religare is religion
we step in binds
In god we trust...

my mind drifts,
Searching for a way to occupy time
I sit alone in a lit room...
my soul is the only LIGHT

I also believe in going your own way, rather than following the sheep and chattel, but it is sometimes hard to be alone.
