Dark Reality Poem by Ritika Deborah George

Dark Reality

Rating: 5.0

Tender like a flower, soft as silk
She was standing in beautiful pink
Brown hairs twirling in the air
Like bees buzzing around the colorful flair

Eyes like sky often drizzling
She was standing high weening
With a silent heart and storming brain
Her smiling face reflected immense pain

Fights unexplained battles unfought
How to come out of drought she knew not
She came to a place crossing the slippery paves
Brooding stooping drifting apart the water waves

Her floating face sparkled by moon rays
Yet she was amazed with those eyes that gazed
Reluctantly she turned;
Unknowingly touched the world

There was he, tough and strong
As being right in all wrong
Fiery eyes over gentle face
Just as sun amidst night phase

Drowning in his eyes her life regained
Like land needs rain again and again
Stretching out his hands to meet hers
His voice echoed deep in her ears

Few words exchanged, many laughter rolled
Taking a step ahead in love, they strolled
"You are a peace that I want in my every piece" said he
"You are that smile I want to make mine" added she

Thus she went whining whirling in happiness
To sing a song of love forever instead of loneliness
Aback with a rustle, she hustled
Turned around roamed about, bustled

Worried looking for something she could not find
Flurried she stood with him on his mind
Minutes later on the bank of river
She exclaimed, "It was my mirror".
