'Dare Not Fall Asleep' Poem by Angel Crabtree

'Dare Not Fall Asleep'

Too early daylight breaks
As I lie here in your arms.
The wind blows through the leaves
as I fall victim to your charms.
Last night I was your conquest;
Today you are my king.
Forever dominate me,
I will gladly kiss your ring...
My eyes I will close,
but I will dare not fall asleep,
While my restless soul and body yearns...
This memory I shall keep.
