Dane Poem by Alex Moore

Dane

Rating: 2.7

I open the door
and you're stood there
out of breath with rain dripping from you
my heart in my throat
I come outside and close the door
I step into the rain with you
the cold hurts my face
but I don't care, I just don't care
I look into you eyes and I'm lost
I wipe the rain from your cheeks and lips
We both smile
and I kiss you
With more passion than any film
and nothing matters
Your girlfriend, The rain, the cold, how tired you are
nothing
because I've got what I need all in that one moment
I've got you
