A sea of clouds and the sky above blue
Crest above crest and crests around
The golden glow each cloud surrounds
Deep dark valleys between crests abound
Calling me out onto the wings of the plane
To feel the soft mounds as it sails through them
See the light flashing as it goes through a mound
To come out of it and go in again
It shakes like a leaf and loses some heights
As we clutch the seats tight and hang onto life
Such thin fluffy things and such power in them
To shake a mighty plane and sail away
In moments like this thoughts go into a whirl
It is wonder of wonders that we exist at all
Enough powers has nature to kill and destroy
And yet a tiny butterfly lives to see another day!
Very beautiful poem on sitting in a flight and looking at the flitting clouds from inside. So beautifully composed and it makes an interesting reading. 'In moments like this thoughts go into a whirl It is wonder of wonders that we exist at all Enough powers has nature to kill and destroy And yet a tiny butterfly lives to see another day! '.. is so nice and meaningful. Thanks for sharing.10++

Thank you for this beautiful poem. I am seriously afraid of height and when in a flight my heart never get to rest until we land. Man is nothing without God.
Quite true, Kingsley! Thank you!
