Daes Twilight Poem by Cheryl Butler

Daes Twilight

Like the calm
In the middle
Of storms
The quiet
of twilight
whispers true
Intimacy
Of love soul

Just before
The moon
Draws
Back out of sight
Just before
Daylight

Quiet sounds
Blanket me
In betwixt
Night's dark
And Day's light
Bedsheets

The hope of
sprinkled
Sparkled
Stars
Awaken me

I am grateful

I wake happy

For the day
In this
Silent realm
Of time
Budgeting
Each minute
To have
Substantial
Means

In that
Quiet time

The
Peaceful noise

Knowledgeable
clutter

It
Feeds
Our
Inner person
soulful nectar

It's Flavour
comforts
In Dae's Twilight
