Chocolate Sunrise 2 Poem by Cheryl Butler

Chocolate Sunrise 2

Alas! I have awoken to me
The Sun shone
Of the white
Mold and mildew
Snowcapped trees
The breeze
Is Irky
A visceral place
The sun shone
On my face
Neck and skin
Strange colours
Of a silhouette
Began
Gray
Charcoal
Midnight Blue
I used to love
The Bronze Hue
I have
To
Give up on you
I have Awakened
To see
You don't love me
