Dads On The Phone Poem by Simon Collins

Dads On The Phone

Rating: 5.0

How do men miss their children?
Let me tell you the ways
When ex's with lovers
Feed them and cloth them
And kiss to school goodbye
The Dads on their own
Leave for work all alone
And all of their lives
Go

Thank you Simon! I love this poem Simon. Things happen for a reason, some we may never understand as our soul journeys, learns, grows in magnificent ways as we grow closer to the Divine with each moment, we embrace all that is before us, Love is the key that unlocks all the doors, we are always connected, never separated, separation is just an illusion, the Divine heart in each and every one beats in the rhythm of love and pain is the doorway that gets us closer to the Divine. Thank you Simon

This makes my heart hurt a little. Dads deserve much more. My dad gave up on his first little girl. The mother just made it too hard to keep in contact. After I learned about it, I always believed he nursed a secret wound in silence. To be an orphan and then have your child wrest from your grasp seems too much to bear.. The words here perfectly conveyed an unsayable feeling.
