Daddy (The Fantasy) Poem by Joseph Karimoni

Daddy (The Fantasy)

Daddy

The fantasy – the contineo
Bring you to real life,
Bring me to your spiritus world

Born of memories cherished
Of a childhood so relished

The nostalgic fire glows
Rekindled by the hugs
Warm fatherly kisses.
Paternal bond strengthens;
Each time I remember
..I fantasize,
Each time I long for an embrace.

Psychic may it sound,
Like Allison Duboi(c)
..or even delusional, but
It’s a belief, I dearly hold
That you always there,
Watching over me,
…over us – your family.
You talk to me!

The demise is painful,
But I reflect.
At least you were there
..we met
..you loved me
..kissed me goodnight.
I sought comfort in your arms..
and fell asleep

Mum is a great mother..
I know you know.
Sis is a great sister..
I know you know that, too.
I couldn’t wish for any others!
I am sure you are proud of us.

I got great friends..
You know them?
I hope you have sent them –
To love me,
..cheer me up,
..have my back,
..to make a better world..
………….
I can only hope for more to come.

In fullness of time,
you gonna send me Romeo – I know -
to share the greatest moments with,
..hold hands as we explore,
The tan-sanded beaches of San Francisco
..lush green forest on Cataract Creek Trail.

I am sure you are smiling.
I miss you,
We miss you.
We love you.
Till we meet again..
Daddy.
