Daddy's Little Girl Poem by Jacqueline Louw

Daddy's Little Girl

As a child i can still remember
all the laughter we shared in summer

Swing and dance twirl twirl
i was daddy's little girl

I grew up and everything changed
another man in my life, the choice I made

You pushed me away
day by day

No more kisses and hugs or dancing in the rain
now these days there is just fighting and pain

O' how i wish we could once again
swing and dance twirl twirl
and me just being daddy's little girl
