Daddy's Little Girl

I wonder when you will see
the love and happinees you have brought to me
the years have past and you have grown
into a princess all of your own

When times were tuff and things got bad
only a few times you made me mad
but deep inside you kept me going
with the love you were showing

My body is aching and tired as well
my eye's are heavy and mind as well
it's thoughts of you that keep me going
with your worry and not knowing

If i will see another day
or close my eyes and be on my way
if i should go and leave you in sorrow
you will greive 'but there is a tomorrow'

My journey has ended and i can sleep in the
comfort of the stars ' while you weep'
pick yourself up and go on wirh life
'never forget dont give up the fight'

When your sad and lonely and feel life's
unfare look up to the stars and i'll be there
talk to them and cry if you feel
for i'll be there to help you heal

I can not speak but you will know
i am with the stars that glow
i'll watch over you every day
in the good and the bad that comes your way

So when your lonely and need to talk
i will come not in body but in mind and spirit
close your eyes and remember and then you will hear it
i have so much to say to you i dont know were to start
as the time has come for us too part

I've watched you grow with love and pride
this my love will never die
how happy you've made me
life was worth living
just to feel the love you were giving

You called my name with tears in your eyes
as you looked up at the stars in the sky
as i jumped and shouted ' there she is '
