Dad Daughter And Night Poem by sonia sonya

Dad Daughter And Night

Rating: 3.8

I comb my hair,
And wonder I go where.

I go soon on my bed,
I hug n chatter wit my ted.

I wait if soon arrives my dad,
And banishes all the bad.

He comes as glow in black,
And pats me at my back.

When I wouldn't sleep at night,
You sing to me n hold my hands tight.

When scared things wouldn't go out right,
You pray the gods n angels to keep a sight,
Nd give me a kiss n say me good night.

I fall asleep, go there dreaming,
All wake up when sun starts rising.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The father of a daughter is nothing but a high-class hostage. A father turns a stony face to his sons, berates them, shakes his antlers, paws the ground, snorts, runs them off into the underbrush, but when his daughter puts her arm over his shoulder and says, 'Daddy, I need to ask you something, ' he is a pat of butter in a hot frying pan.
